The Walking Dead… I watched all 6 episodes of the first season today… which believe it or not, was surprisingly amazing.
I was like, “WTF? Why is a show about zombies so well-made and captivating?” I mean, I love Night of the Living Dead as much as the next cinephile but I’m not one for zombies… (oh, well I forgot all about Fido… but he’s a whole ‘nother thing basically.)
Anyway, it was really good… and I was left wanting more (which is why I put the “Walking Dead Compendium One” on hold at the library… why didn’t I go to a comic book store yesterday and try to get Vol. 1 for free?!? Oh, yeah… ‘cos I didn’t think I would like it this much.)

We should pinch each other once in a while to see if we are still alive.

This was amazing - gritty, harrowing, with the most wonderful charged expressive moments of silence between words.

This is one of my favourite plays. I want to see it on Broadway or in London, wherever it is playing.

I feel like I felt when I read that Mary Louise Parker was going to be Hedda Gabler a couple of years ago. I wanted to go see it soooo badly, but didn’t. How have I still not been to New York?
